Cub Scouts Noosa Queensland

8 – 11 years old

Cub Scouts is for both boys and girls. This section focuses on exploring the outdoors and discovering new and exciting things. Cub Scouts belong to a pack and begin to learn leadership and teamwork in small teams called Sixes.

As a Cub Scout, you learn skills by playing games and enjoying yourself. There are opportunities to camps with your Pack, as well as attending camps with hundreds of other Cubs at Cuboree. You will get opportunities to learn how to use a compass, go on bushwalks and bike trips, and learn to canoe, sail, and abseil, as well as many other adventurous activities.

Grey Wolf Award

The Grey Wolf Award is the peak award in the Cub Section. A Cub can earn badges and complete further tasks, including planning and leading a hike or day walk. A group of Cubs can achieve this award.

Cub Scouts at Noosa Sea Scout Group

Cub Scouts meet on a Tuesday between 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
